Antique silver & gold Mother brooch. This Edwardian silver and gold brooch would have been a beautiful gift to have been given in 1908, and now it can be loved and enjoyed again for many more years. A lovely gift at any time to say “I love you Mum”. The detail is etched and facet cut and the MOTHER letters are overlayed in gold. It has a full English hallmark for Birmingham 1908. The hinge works well and the pin which has been replaced at some time in its life closes securely. Overall, for its age, it’s in good condition although there is some discolouration to the letters as can be seen in the photos.
